Purpose
These terms govern the use of Blindissimo, a blind timer and poker tournament organiser published by Tequi (Charles Grimont). By using the app, you accept them.
A tool, not gambling
Blindissimo offers no game, no betting and no payment: it keeps time and makes calculations from the amounts you enter. Any money exchanged between players never goes through the app.
Follow the law of your country. In many countries, including France, organising poker games for money is regulated or forbidden outside licensed venues. It is up to you to check what the law allows where you play; the app also suits tournaments with no stakes, for fun or for points.
Access
The app is free, funded by an ad banner (see the privacy policy). It is meant for adults.
Calculations for guidance
The prize pool, payouts, ICM deal, bounties, estimated duration and chip breakdown are calculated from your settings and given for guidance. Check them before handing out winnings; in case of disagreement, the decision lies with the players and the organiser.
Good practice
- Keep the device charged or plugged in during the tournament, and check that sound and notifications are on.
- On Android, allow "Alarms & reminders" so that level changes arrive on time when the screen is locked.
- Back up your data regularly (Structure screen, Backup card): it is only kept on the device.
Prohibited uses
- Using the app to organise illegal gambling or an unauthorised commercial gaming activity.
- Diverting the app from its purpose, copying it, decompiling it or trying to circumvent how it works.
Availability
The publisher does not guarantee uninterrupted operation and may change, suspend or discontinue the app. The data kept on your device remains under your control.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for damage resulting from a calculation error, a missed or delayed notification, data loss or use that does not comply with these terms or with the law. These terms do not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
These terms may change; the current version is published in the app and on its website, with its update date. Continuing to use the app means accepting the new version.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution is sought before any action; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the rules protecting consumers.
